Biography princess alexandra of luxembourg wedding
Guillaume, hereditary grand duke of luxembourg
Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg tied the knot with Nicolas Bagory in a lavish religious ceremony in southeastern France this afternoon. The princess, 31, looked elegant in a flowing, off-white gown as she and Nicolas, 33, continued their wedding celebrations a week after their civil ceremony in Luxembourg. Her dress was slightly off the shoulder, with pleated details, and Alexandra opted for a long veil decorated with beads and pearlescent embellishments.
She also wore an opulent tiara, and kept her make-up natural for the occasion. Her mother Maria Teresa, the Grand Duchess, was spotted entering the church a few moments beforehand in a bold navy and green fitted dress. Nicolas Bagory attends his wedding with his mother in Bormes-les-Mimosas, France. The lavish religious ceremony comes a week after Alexandra and Nicolas wed in a civil ceremony at Luxembourg's Town Hall.
The bride had opted for a sleek cream bridal suit rather than a dress on this occasion, while wearing her brunette locks in a low-key style behind her back. After the ceremony, the beaming couple stood on the steps outside the Town Hall and waved to adoring fans who had gathered to see them. Alexandra and Nicolas announced their engagement in November last year.
According to her online biography, Alexandra speaks four languages fluently, including Luxembourgian, English, French and Spanish. She can also hold her own in German and Italian.
